BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATION PROCEDURES
(Clyde Township is a Zoned Community permits are required)



NEW HOMES & MANUFACTURED HOMES
PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
- Building Permit Application
- Plot Plan (include setbacks, easements, water, septic &
electrical lines)
- Copy of your Deed or Proof of Ownership
- Copy of Well Permit (Permit is obtained at the Health Dept. unless you are in the water district)
- Copy of Septic Permit (Permit is obtained from the Health Dept.)
- Copy of the Culvert Permit (Permit is obtained from the Road Commission. If you have an existing culvert, you will need to obtain a letter from the Road Commission stating the culvert is acceptable.)
- Address Application (Addresses are not given until the building permit is issued.)

REQUIREMENTS FOR TEMPORARY OCCUPANCY PERMITS:
- Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing Systems Finished (final inspection is needed)
- All Handrails and Guardrails in place
- Safe Egress from all Doors (stable steps)
- Fire Wall between House and Garage Intact
- Approval from the Building Inspector

- Building Permit Application
- Plot Plan (include setbacks, easements, water, septic & electrical lines)
- Exterior Views and Elevations
